Ok, I cant make every blurb I think of to a completed piece, either due to lack matter, or I dont find it funny anymore (I know some of the blurbs that make it are not funny either).

Tit-for-tat war goes into an infinite loop
The ongoing tit-for-tat attacks among the Hezbollah army and the Israeli Defense Forces has gone into an infinite loop due to some programming errors.
'while()' the UN is trying to 'break' the loop, the two sides are unmoved, and are 'continue'ing operations against each other.
(sub)Routine calls for SIG-INT and SIG-BREAK went unanswered by the two sides. Authorities are mum about the use of sIG-QUIT.
Britian and other nations have issued a 'goto' directies to its citizens in the region, asking them to report to the Foreign Office for news about possible evacuation

Millions overdoze on date drug
Hospitals all over the world are treating millions for an overdose of new designer date drug. This new drug discovered in late 2001 has been widely available and is used by rich and the poor alike.
Available in various regional flavours, the first date drug was sold on 9/11, and has been widely abused in the US by the right wing politicians for futhering their propaganda.
[Idea: I am sick and tired of the media and the politicians jazzing up traigic dates (9/11 US, 3/11 Madrid, 7/11 Mumbai, India etc) and milking them to all its worth and then some, this piece, ironically, uses those dates to poke fun at the practice]
